Important: SpamTitan 9.01 Upgrade Next Steps- Action Required
Dear Customer,
We greatly appreciate your interest in upgrading to our new SaaS platform, SpamTitan 9.01 – (code name: Skellig), and we're excited to guide you through this transition.
In preparation for the upgrade, we have outlined a migration plan to ensure a smooth process.
Below are the key steps and actions required from your end:
Step 1: Pre-Upgrade Preparation

Before the upgrade can occur, there are a few essential steps you need to take on your side:

Validate that the new MX record points to your server IP address.

MX record update: Below, you will find the details for your new MX record. You need to replace your current MX record with it.

Update TLS Cert: Under System Setup > TLS change to DIGICERT 0CC686841033D7AB41A5A600BBC2B27A cert.

Firewall rules update: Below are the new server IP addresses. Please ensure your firewall allows communication over port 25 for the provided IPs by adding them.

Mail server connectors update: If you have connectors in your mail server. Please ensure that your connector also allows emails for the new IPs.
Step 2: Checklist to complete
☐ All MX records for ALL active domains have been updated. (See MX record above).
☐ TLS certificate has been switched to TitanHQ.com certificate provided. (See DIGICERT above).
☐ All Mailservers/Firewalls have been opened to accept mail from the New Skellig server IPs or O365 connectors created. (See Server IPs above).
☐ Ready to Upgrade
Step 3: Upgrade
Once you have the above changes completed, let us know that you are ready to migrate and consent to doing so by emailing us at ST9Upgrade@titanhq.com (Also please include your completed checklist from step 2 in your email to confirm readiness).
Migration Note:
During migrations, a couple of test emails are sent as part of the migration, they are empty emails to check for mail deliverability issues before migration. These can simply be ignored.
